I purchased a year ago Dodge Grand Caravan and now I have 17,000 miles. While I was driving I notice smoke in my car, the transmission cracked open and all the oil spread over the engine and other parts. The transmission block in this car is made of plastic. I called the dealer for service because the car is under warranty. They kept me running in circles on the line. No help with the towing. I spent 30 minutes on the phone. Finally they asked me to call a towing company they work with and to tow the car to the dealer. After the towing arrived they ask me to pay because the dealer cover only 12 miles of towing and the dealer was 17 miles away. I spent another 30 minutes calling to get some help. Finally I was told that I would need to find a dealer nearest me to get a free towing. I asked if they can locate any dealer nearest me but the representative told me that he had no idea where Benseville is, where I was stranded with my car but he said that their location is not the closest one, he lost himself in his lies. I asked for assistance anyway and finally he puts me on hold to find out where is the nearest dealer, he gave me the name of the dealer but when I asked for the address, he did not have one, so I asked for the phone number to this dealer but he gave me wrong number, it was a number to a web hosting company. The person from the towing company found the nearest dealer for me. Also I was asking if I could get the replacement car for the time my car was being repaired but the Dodge is not offering rental car reimbursement or loaner car. I am making my monthly payments to the dealer, I don't have the car and all that is not my fault, but I have to pay for the car and I pay for renting a car.
Half a year ago I did a recall repair on the key switch and after the dealer did the service my key is getting stocked very often, before they did the service it was working fine.
